What Is a Habitation Check?
A habitation check is basically an MOT for the living area of your motorhome. Our habitation check includes a water ingress (damp) test, a gas safety check and we check the operation of all equipment and appliances. Our thorough check confirms to all motorhome manufacturer requirements.
Why Do I Need One?
A habitation check gives you the peace of mind that your motorhome is in 100% working order. Gas safety is paramount for motorhomes given the number of gas appliances contained in a small living area. Water ingress is not always visible to the naked eye and left undetected can cause severe damage which can be very costly to repair. Detection at an early stage before major damage is caused can save hundreds even thousands of pounds.
Engine Servicing?
Engine service is vital to ensure safe and efficient running of your motorhome. Although you may be doing fewer miles than in a car the engine oil and filters will still deteriorate over time, so your motorhome should still be serviced on an annual basis.
